Our Mission

About half the women in Africa give birth at home, and if that’s you, and something goes wrong, you’re out of luck. Far too often a woman who’s in obstructed labor and has no access to a c-section, will develop a fistula. This leaves her incontinent, and too often an outcast in her community. Our belief is that no woman should have to suffer a life of misery, simply for trying to bring a child into the world.
